A Noite do Cometa — Independent cultural project in Porto

A Noite do Cometa is an independent cultural programming project born in Porto.

Each edition is presented as a chapter of a larger narrative. The artists, the spaces, the image, the writing and the way we host the audience all belong to the same construction.

The project is not about accumulating events. It seeks continuity between one night and the next, between artists and audience, between what happens on stage and the memory that remains afterwards.

The programme is planned around four chapters a year, presented in indoor spaces. An open-air chapter remains a possibility whenever the artistic context, the space and the production conditions call for it.

The partnership with ESRadio extends the project into radio and podcast, built from the same curatorial universe.

Each episode can start from a song, an artist, a story, an idea or an event, and reach into literature, cinema, art, design, science, places and people.

The programme does not exist to promote the concerts. It exists on its own and carries the same desire to create encounters, make room for discovery and build narratives that outlast a single night.
